雨夠了 “Rain Enough”

那nà國guó王wáng傳chuán旨zhǐ道dào：「雨yǔ夠gòu了le，雨yǔ夠gòu了le；十shí分fēn再zài多duō，又yòu渰yǎn壞huài了le禾hé苗miáo，反fǎn為wéi不bù美měi。」五wǔ鳳fèng樓lóu下xià聽tīng事shì官guān策cè馬mǎ冒mào雨yǔ來lái報bào：「聖shèng僧sēng，雨yǔ夠gòu了le。」行xíng者zhě聞wén言yán，將jiāng金jīn箍gū棒bàng往wǎng上shàng又yòu一yì指zhǐ。那nà国guó王wáng传chuán旨zhǐ道dào：「雨yǔ够gòu了le，雨yǔ够gòu了le；十shí分fēn再zài多duō，又yòu渰yǎn坏huài了le禾hé苗miáo，反fǎn为wéi不bù美měi。」五wǔ凤fèng楼lóu下xià听tīng事shì官guān策cè马mǎ冒mào雨yǔ来lái报bào：「圣shèng僧sēng，雨yǔ够gòu了le。」行xíng者zhě闻wén言yán，将jiāng金jīn箍gū棒bàng往wǎng上shàng又yòu一yì指zhǐ。

Deictic 那國王: 那 = nà. 傳旨 “to issue a command.”

渰壞了 (yǎn) “to flood and ruin.” 禾苗 “the seedling grain.” 反為不美: 為 = wéi (“to become”), “would instead be bad.”

五wǔ鳳fèng樓lóu下xià聽tīng事shì官guān策cè馬mǎ冒mào雨yǔ來lái報bào：「聖shèng僧sēng，雨yǔ夠gòu了le。」五wǔ凤fèng楼lóu下xià听tīng事shì官guān策cè马mǎ冒mào雨yǔ来lái报bào：「圣shèng僧sēng，雨yǔ够gòu了le。」

Below the Five-Phoenix Tower, an attending officer spurred his horse through the rain to report, “Holy monk, the rain is enough.”

聽事官 “the officer in attendance.” 策馬冒雨 “to whip the horse on through the rain.”

行xíng者zhě聞wén言yán，將jiāng金jīn箍gū棒bàng往wǎng上shàng又yòu一yì指zhǐ。行xíng者zhě闻wén言yán，将jiāng金jīn箍gū棒bàng往wǎng上shàng又yòu一yì指zhǐ。

Pilgrim, hearing it, pointed the gold-banded cudgel up once again.

Disposal 將金箍棒: 將 = jiāng. 往上又一指: 一 = yì.

總評 Commentary

The rain is not merely produced but governed to measure — the king calls a halt lest the crops drown, and Wukong stops it with a point of the staff. The exact control (start, stop, all on cue) is the true demonstration: not that rain can be made, but that it answers wholly to the Great Sage, which is what the coming clearing will prove past dispute.
