逐句解 Line by line

Friar Sand, pinching Pilgrim, murmured under his breath, “Brother, they want it so badly — and here they come praying again.”

捻著: durative = zhe. 要得緊: = de (degree-complement), “to want it urgently.”

Pilgrim said, “Let's give them a little.”

與他些罷: sentence-final = ba (hortative, = 吧), softening the command; pypinyin mis-defaults .

總評 Commentary

A quick three-way aside among the disciples — Friar Sand wry, Bajie sceptical, Wukong airily confident. “Just watch me” is the hinge of the whole prank: what the immortals will receive as 聖水 (holy water) is about to be produced on the spot, and the disciples are being told to hold their poses and follow the Great Sage's lead.
