那道士無奈，不敢久占，只得下了臺讓他。努著嘴，徑往樓上見駕。行者道：「等我跟他去，看他說些甚的。」那道士无奈，不敢久占，只得下了台让他。努着嘴，径往楼上见驾。行者道：「等我跟他去，看他说些甚的。」

That Daoist, at a loss, dared not linger long on the platform, and could only come down from it and yield the place to him.
Deictic 那道士: 那 = nà. 只得: 得 = dé, “had no choice but.” 久占: 占 = zhàn, “to occupy long.”
努著嘴，徑往樓上見駕。
努着嘴，径往楼上见驾。
Pouting, he went straight up to the tower to see the king.
Durative 努著嘴: 著 = zhe. 見駕 “to present oneself before the throne.”
行者道：「等我跟他去，看他說些甚的。」
行者道：「等我跟他去，看他说些甚的。」
Pilgrim said, “Wait while I follow him and see what he has to say.”
行者: 行 = xíng. 看他: 看 = kàn. 說些甚的: 甚 = shén (“what”).
The immortal, beaten at his own rite, sullenly abandons the altar and hurries to the king — to spin the failure before the throne rather than concede it at the platform. Wukong's decision to shadow him sets up the confrontation of accounts in the next passage, where the two sides give opposite explanations for the same rainless sky.
