逐句解 Line by line

鹿xiāndào:「shīxiōnghǎochīme?」 鹿xiāndào:「shīxiōnghǎochīme?」

Deer-Power the Immortal said, “Elder brother, is it good?”

師兄 “elder brother.” 好吃麼: = hǎo, “good to eat?”

lǎodàoshìzhezuǐdào:「shènhǎochīyǒuxiēhān𨢿dānzhīwèi。」 lǎodàoshìzhezuǐdào:「shènhǎochīyǒuxiēhān𨢿dānzhīwèi。」

The old Daoist pursed his lips and said, “Not very good — it has something of a stale, fermented tang.”

Durative 努著嘴: = zhe. 不甚: = shèn (intensifier, “very”), so = before 4th tone. 𨢿 (hān dān, U+288BF) — a rare binome for a musty, over-fermented off-flavour; the astral graph 𨢿 is held on the simplified side too (T2S_KEEP).

yángxiāndào:「děngchángcháng。」 yángxiāndào:「děngchángcháng。」

Ram-Power the Immortal said, “Let me have a taste.”

等我嘗嘗 “let me try it”; the reduplicated 嘗嘗 softens to “have a little taste.”

lekǒudào:「yǒuxiēzhūsāo。」 lekǒudào:「yǒuxiēzhūsāo。」

He too drank a mouthful and said, “It has rather a whiff of pig's piss.”

喝了: = . 一口: = before (3rd tone). 豬溺臊氣 “the rank stink of pig's urine.”

總評 Commentary

The reveal comes by degrees of the palate: the senior immortal can name only a vague sourness (酣𨢿), while Ram-Power, blunter, hits nearer the mark with “pig's piss.” The graded tasting is a small comic set-piece, and the obscure binome 酣𨢿 — rare enough to sit outside the Basic Multilingual Plane — lets the text dress the foul truth in learned vocabulary right up to the moment Wukong names it outright.
