總評 Commentary

Wukong's “concession” is a mockery of the whole proceeding: he offers to have his brothers executed one by one for crimes he demands witnesses for, exposing the charges as unproved by the very act of pretending to accept them. The tone is deadpan-absurd — haggling over how many monks to put to death — and sets up the sharper argument of the frame-up defence that follows.
