Sanzang and the others turned their heads to look, and saw the great immortals come swaggering in, followed by a pair of little servant-boys with twin topknots and tousled hair, marching straight inside.
三藏: 藏 = zàng. 觀看: 觀 = guān. Deictic 那大仙: 那 = nà. Durative 帶著: 著 = zhe. 小童兒: suffixal 兒 = er. 丫髻蓬頭 “twin topknots, tousled hair.”

控背躬身 “to arch the back and bow low.” 不敢仰視: 不 = bù, “not daring to look up.”
他上了金鑾殿，對國王徑不行禮。

They went up onto the Hall of the Golden Chariot and, facing the king, made no bow at all.
徑不行禮: 行 = xíng (行禮 “to make obeisance”); 徑 “outright, simply,” and 不 = bù — they omit the courtesy entirely.
總評 Commentary
The immortals' entrance is a study in insolence: they swagger past the prostrate court with their unkempt page-boys and, on reaching the throne, pointedly withhold the bow that everyone else has just performed. Where the pilgrims approached with elaborate protocol, the Preceptors flaunt their exemption from it — a visible claim to stand above the king, and the arc's clearest image of a state captured by its clerics.
