A short coda closes the Red Boy episode. The final pair — 那長老得性命，全虧孫大聖／取真經，只靠美猴精 — is a 5+5 verse-form couplet but carries no 「:」 marker in 世德堂本, so it is set as prose here (see FLAGS).
